Norwegian signs it first collective agreement in Spain

Norwegian and its cabin crew collective in Spain, represented by Unión Sindical Obrera (USO), have signed a collective agreement. It is the first cabin-crew CBA Norwegian signs in Spain, the product of more than one year of negotiations in Madrid.

The cabin-crew CBA is truly comprehensive, covering a wide range of aspects, from —to name but a few— vacancy bidding, days off per month or the regulation of one common seniority list.

The cabin crew collective is Norwegian’s largest one in Spain, employing over half of the company’s staff in the country, namely 800 people across eight operating bases: Alicante, Barcelona (two bases: short- and long-haul), Gran Canaria, Madrid, Malaga, Palma and Tenerife South.

Norwegian´s negotiation team in Spain was chaired by Ebba Walberg Snygg.
