The Malmö based tech-company Hövding has raised 30 million SEK in a new issue of shares. The private equity firm Indigo Capital Partners becomes Hövding’s second largest shareholder, after Industrifonden, after the new issue.

Hövding has developed a bicycle helmet based on airbag-technology and the company has been getting a lot of attention and praise in both Swedish- and international media lately. The new issue shall contribute the financing of Hövding’s continued international expansion. Hövding was formed in 2006 by Terese Alstin and Anna Haupt, who recently was nominated to the European Inventor Award for small- and middle-sized companies.

Moll Wendén has represented Hövding in the new issue of shares. The Moll Wendén team consisted of Thomas Moll, Martin Morén Jönsson and Hanna Rehn.
