Life science company Galenica praised at the event Malmö Näringslivsgala

The red carpet was rolled out for the region’s entrepreneurs when the City of Malmö held its trade and industry gala at the Opera House on the 11th of February. On Monday evening, awards were given to, among others, the Business person of the Year, the Business Rookie of the Year and the Job Comet of the Year. The City of Malmö’s business award in the category Life Science went to Medeon-company Galenica, founded by pharmacists Ronnie Wallin (pictured) and Henri Hansson.

“It’s great to see that Galenica gained recognition through this award, we are very happy for them!” says David Klose, partner at Moll Wendén Law Firm. “We have had the pleasure to closely take part of Galenica’s journey, from a newly founded Medeon-company to the full-fledged international company it is today. Galenica is a success story and a role model in Life Science in the region, and undoubtedly a worthy winner of this award.”
