Newly started venture capital company becomes major shareholder in Lund-based company

Venture capitalist Port-Monnaie Venture AB is investing close to three million SEK in the Lund-based company BioActive Polymers, in connection with an issue of new shares. The medical devices technology company intends to use the investment to conduct a human study.

BioActive Polymers in Lund AB is developing a unique spray patch that prevents scarring after surgery, a product which is broken down and taken care of by the human body.

Port-Monnaie Venture AB invests in innovative companies, with a focus on the Öresund Region. The Malmö-based venture capital company was founded by Joakim Falk, Pouyan Kasraian and Staffan Gestrelius. Moll Wendén Law Firm, through Stefan Wendén and Lovisa Elardt, has assisted the founders in matters relating to the ownership structure in connection with the company’s establishment.
